Spring Presbyterian Pilgrimage
March 14-17, 2013 Experience a weekend in Christian sharing and living as you travel your journey in faith. The goal of Pilgrimage is to encourage Christians, to help them grow in their lives of faith and increase both their awareness of grace and desire to serve Christ in His church and the world. Cornerstone Kid's Club
All kids ages 4 through 5th grade are invited to play at Jump Zone on Sunday, February 24th. We will be
jumping from 2-4pm. Along with the fellowship, Kids Club will sponsor a Pet Food Drive for a local cat and dog rescue.
Please bring dog or cat food items for donation. Admission to Jump Zone is $6 per child with a minimum of 15 children and $9 per child if less than 15.
Feel free to bring a friend! Parents are asked to stay for the duration. Sign-up sheets are in the narthex. Contact Monica Welborn for more information.
Taste of Pilgrimage
Please join Dr. Fred Thrower for an informational session on the Presbyterian Pilgrimage experience Sunday, February 17, 2013 following the 11:00am service. Confirmation Class
All youth, 6th grade through 12th, who have not participated in Confirmation are invited to join us for our Spring Confirmation class that will be held on Wednesdays from 7:00-8:15 pm. This six-week class will begin on April 10 with the final class being May 15 and the class joining the church on Sunday, May 19, Pentecost. Please sign-up by contacting Tricia in the office. Parents are requested to attend the first class, April 10.
Children's Easter egg hunt
The annual Children's Easter egg hunt will be held on Saturday, March 23rd at 11am. All children through 5th grade are invited to bring their baskets and join in the fun. In the event of rain, the egg hunt will be on the following Saturday, March 30th at 11am. Parents, please sign your children up no later than Sunday March 17th. Sanctuary Flowers
Sanctuary flowers enhance the beauty of our Sunday services. They can
be given to the Glory of God, in memory of, or in honor of family
members, friends and loved ones. When you reserve a date, a notice of
your donation will be printed in the Sunday service bulletin.
To reserve a date, please fill out the flower calendar in the narthex and
the form below. Send it, along with your check to the church office prior
to your reserved date. The cost is $75.00. Checks should be made
payable to Cornerstone Presbyterian Church with ‘Flower Fund’ noted
on the memo line.
